Major Industrial Areas in India

There has been a disparity in the establishment of industries in India. Hence the industrial distribution in the country is uneven. The main reason for this is availability of energy supply, raw materials, labor, transportation, market etc. In places where these sources become readily available, industries progress in a smooth manner. Apart from this, the establishment of industries also depends on their nature. Industrial sector has developed in the country according to the demand of the commodities of the industry.
