भारत का भूगोल : भारत की जलवायु भारतीय मानसून<br> Geography of India: Climate of India Indian Monsoon
भारत की जलवायु 'मानसूनी' है। मानसून शब्द की उत्पत्ति 'मौसिम' शब्द से हुई है, जोकि 'अरबी भाषा' का शब्द है। मौसिम का अर्थ है 'पवनों की दिशा का ऋतुवत (मौसम के अनुरूप) प्रत्यावर्तन'। भारत में अरब सागर तथा बंगाल की खाड़ी से चलने वाली हवाओं की दिशा ऋतु परिवर्तन के साथ परिवर्तित हो जाती हैं। इसी वजह से भारतीय जलवायु को 'मानसूनी जलवायु' कहा जाता है। The climate of India is 'monsoon' . The word monsoon is derived from the word 'mausim' , which is the word for 'Arabic language' . Mausim means 'the seasonal (alternating season) alternation of wind direction' . In India, the direction of the winds from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal changes with the change of seasons. For this reason, the Indian climate is called 'monsoon climate' . Read more
